Natural Rattan

Natural Rattan Pole

Solid rattan stem used for structure. Its fibre allows steam bending into continuous curves, so frames can be formed rather than jointed.

Natural Rattan

Split rattan used for weaving and binding. Gauge selection changes both the pattern scale and the surface strength of a woven panel.

Bamboo

Fast-renewing culm used whole or split. Rigid rather than bendable, so it suits linear structure and vertical bundling.

Cotton Macramé Cord
